This 7-week class is for highly motivated students who want to transform their test performance and are planning to take the nationally administered ACT on June 8, 2024. The class does the following:
introduces each section of the ACT
exposes hidden test assumptions
offers strategic approaches to reading text, analyzing graphs, problem-solving, and test-taking
provides detailed grammar instruction (which is not taught at most high schools or in most prep classes)
reviews significant math content in prealgebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, statistics
lays positive foundational study and test-taking habits that students can build on to continue to improve their understanding and execution
The class includes a full proctored pretest and 21 hours of instruction by an expert teacher and 99th percentile scorer.
Each session of the ACT Prep Class covers a different practice test. Students can start with any of the sessions and take multiple classes to improve their test performance. Session F focuses on Practice Test 6.
All classes will be recorded. The videos will be made available for a limited time to students with excused absences.
